Where Stray Feelings Find a Home

OUR STORY
At the heart of Cup of Tearapy sits a little stray cat named Ragout and two friends who understood what it’s like to carry pieces of themselves that feel wild, lost, and a little unruly.

Alice, an illustrator in England, and Margherita, a marketer in Italy, both knew what it meant to love stray cats since childhood. But they also knew something deeper: that the parts of ourselves we try to hide, the chaos, the fear, the shadows, are exactly where healing begins.

Everyone can feel safe

What if those “stray” pieces could find a home? Not just in our hearts, but in art and stories that speak softly and honestly to anyone who’s ever felt the same way.

So they created Cup of Tearapy: a place where vulnerability meets gentle humour, where messy feelings are celebrated, and where a simple cup of tea paired with cosy art becomes more than decoration: it becomes a companion for the hard days.

Nobody is alone

Why a Stray Cat?

Because like Ragout, our feelings sometimes wander alone, searching for comfort and belonging. Each design we create is more than a product. It’s a hug in a mug. A whisper that says, “You’re not alone.” A touch of whimsy to turn cloudiest days into ones filled with hope and healing.

Whether it’s a teacup with a tail or artwork that transforms heartaches into smiles, every piece is an invitation to pause, connect, and care for the parts of you that need it most.

This Isn’t About Perfection

It’s about showing up, messy and real.

It’s about learning to love your inner stray, because amid the wildness lies your strength.

We design each illustration, mug, and bundle to make you smile, sigh, and sometimes even shed a tear. Because caring for our stray bits is the kindest gift we can give ourselves.

We believe a cosy moment with tea and a friendly feline can turn any day around. Thank you for letting us, and our little stray mascot, bring comfort into your world, one creation at a time.

Welcome to the family. Your feelings have a home here.
